Umbrella fell in the wind, woman killed, four injured

Due to the strong wind, the umbrella flew off and four people were injured and a woman died in the incident which took place in Mushtoo camp of Karatagi taluk of the district.

Anjinamma (45) is a deceased unfortunate lady who is a resident of Pragati Nagar of Gangavati Taluk. At present four injured have been treated at Gangavati Taluk Hospital.

A canopy was put up for the Srinivasa welfare programme. An accident occurred when the umbrella placed in the cooking area fell on the women who were cooking.

A case has been registered at Gangavati police station
